Built in the 12th and 13 C, the ramparts are a good example of medieval military architecture. Between Porte Saint-Jean and Porte de Jouy, you will see the most interesting part of the ramparts. The «Tour aux Engins» that links two courtyards is named after a barn where war machines («engins») were once stored. Behind this, falconiers give flying shows.
