From the wells of Fontaine-Bouillon came the radioactive waters that the Romans appreciated. Although they left their votive offerings there, the wells fell into disuse until Vauban set about exploiting them again in the 17C. The thermal building, rebuilt after 1945, now contains a hotel and a casino and its 8 ha park extends into the forest by the Drève du Prince.
