Alongside Ambleville’s church stands the Renaissance façade of this château, attributed to Jean Grappin. Visitors can see the main hall and guard room, preceded by a nymphaeum giving onto the exterior. On the first floor, note the four so-called “Villeroy” French ebony cabinets, before crossing the Italian-style gallery (18C), opening onto a section of the gardens, laid out in the early 20C by Salviati-Borghèse in emulation of Florence’s Gamberaia gardens and the glory of this château.
