This estate was the backdrop for a love affair between Louis de Mornay and Ninon de Lenclos, one of the great female figures of the 17C. In addition to its 18C château and Ninon’s pavilion (15C-16C), its offers some magnificent landscape. The park beautifully illustrates the evolution of landscape gardening through the ages. A path heads round the large lake and leads to the miroir de Ninon, fed by an Italian fountain. From there, don't miss the view over the south façade of the Château du Haut.
