Piana : Michelin's recommendations

This lively summer resort, near the Calanches, overlooks the bay of Porto. It stands on a superb site with the summit of Monte Cinto, still snow-capped in spring, in the distance. The presence of several enormous eucalyptus trees along the road into the village bears witness to the mild sea climate. The little squares lined by whitewashed houses, and the 18C church with a graceful spire, are very pleasant.
