Pigna is one of those charming villages that make the Balagne region so popular, including with artists and craftsmen. Perched upon a hillock surrounded by olive groves and overlooking the bay of Algajola, Pigna's steep little streets, with cobbles or steps, all branch off from the church. After a period of decline, this charming medieval village has become a symbol of the resurgence of Corsica's craft and music traditions.
