The houses of this charming village, along with its Genoese towers, its church and its numerous funerary chapels erected in memory of wealthy dignitaries, rise in tiers up the side of the mountain in the midst of abundant vegetation. The beautiful baroque-style façade of the Eglise Ste-Marie, restored in the 18C and 19C, faces out to the sea. Take the little road that runs down steeply to the tiny Pino Marina and its pebble beach. There, side by side, stand an old Genoese tower and the former St François convent (closed to the public).
