Occupying an 18C chateau situated in a pleasant public garden, this museum displays collections of art from 16C to 20C. The highlights are The Tryptych of the Trinity by Jean Bellegambe (early 16C) and works by Van Loo, Bruegel the Elder... Local architecture, old ironwork and documents relating to the old town of Ales (“vieil Alais”).
