Roman Theatre Recommended Recommended : Michelin's recommendations

This is one of the most important theatres of the late 1C BC. It keeps two fine columns which stand outlined against a landscape of rare elegance. The theatre was used as a quarry from the 5C, was transformed into a hideout in the 9C and was only opened in the 19C. Unlike the ancient theatre of Orange it was not supported by the hill, it was supported by an exterior portico formed of 27 arches one span of which has survived.
