Basilica of St Victor Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

Bibendum
The 5C crypt constituted by the ancient abbey contains a series of antique, pagan and Christian sarcophagi. Next to it is the cave of St Victor and the entrance to the catacombs where St Lazarus and St Mary Magdalene are venerated, near the sarcophagus said to be that of St Cassien, discovered in 1965. Laid waste by the Saracens, the church was rebuilt in around 1040 and sturdy fortifications added. The heavy arches of the porch are the oldest in southern France.
