The Massif des Calanques stretches almost 20km between Marseille and Cassis. This rocky limestone landscape is dazzling white and culminates in the 565m-high Mt Puget. Its outstanding charm can be ascribed to the creeks deeply chiseled into its coast. Some of these calanques are easily accessible, others can only be reached on foot. The most famous are the Morgiou and Sugiton towards Marseille, and En-Vau near Cassis, as well as Sormiou and Port-Pin.
