Massif des Calanques Recommended Recommended : Michelin's recommendations

Bibendum
The Calanques massif, with Mont Puget (565m) its highest peak, stretches for almost 20km between Marseille and Cassis. Its solid limestone, dazzling whiteness and weather-worn pinnacles have long attracted nature lovers. However, its exceptional charm stems, above all, from its narrow indentations, the famous calanques, which have been chiselled out of its coastline. Some are easily accessible, but others can only be reached on foot. Among the most beautiful are Morgiou and Sugiton, towards Marseille, En-Vau near Cassis, Sormiou and Port-Pin.
