Palais Longchamp Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

This monumental water tower was built between 1839 and 1869 by Nîmes-born architect Henri Espérandieu, in honour of the arrival of water from the Canal de la Durance in Marseille. In the centre there is a fine colonnade surrounding a fountain that evokes the abundance and fertility related to the canal's waters. On the left is the Fine Art Museum and on the right the Natural History Museum.

It's a lovely structure and garden.

You can skip the museums, especially the national science museum that is just filled with dead animals.
