Replacing the colonnade of the old theatre, this facility houses a rich multimedia resource (in the basement) and a museum of contemporary art devoted to art from 1960 to the present day grouped into three sections: French art, Mediterranean art (Spain and Italy) and Anglo-Saxon and Germanic art. The main themes are New Realism, Arte Povera, Transavangarde and New Figuration. Works by Tinguely, Sigmar Polke, Boltanski, Garouste, Schnabel, Barcelo and Claude Viallat.
