This huge 15ha field of ruins reveals the daily life of antique Vasio. The remains are those of the outer quarters of the Gallo-Roman city, with heterogeneous housing. Its centre (forum and outskirts) is covered by the modern town of Vaison. Digs are still ongoing in the Villasse quarter and around the Puymin hill, where a shopping area and a sumptuous domus (Paon Villa), with its decor of mosaics, have been discovered.
