This eagle's nest village sits at an altitude of 500m on the edge of the Balagne region. Maupassant was struck by the sight of this "tall mountain crowned with a cluster of houses thrown so far up into the blue sky that you think with sadness of the breathlessness of the inhabitants obliged to walk up there to their homes". Walk in a clockwise direction around the village to enjoy remarkable 360º views that take in the Regino Valley, the undulating Balagne region from Belgodère to lumio, the tall snow-capped mountains, the Algajola basin and the sea.
