With a steeple with three open storeys topped by a dome, a choir graced by an impressive baroque high altar in polychrome marble, the church is first and foremost the starting point each Good Friday for the impressive procession of Catenacciu. Worth seeing are the cross weighing 31.5 kg and the chain (14 kg) which hinder the progress of the Great Penitent through the town lit with candles.
