The Municipal Museum has been housed in the former Jacobine convent since 1880. The ground floor displays a collection of sculptures from the 13C to the 19C, including original plaster casts by Augustin Dumont (19C sculptor, specialising in commemorative statues) and two angels originally in Notre-Dame Church. The upper floors house a biology section and collections of items uncovered on prehistoric, Gallo-Roman and Merovingian sites. In addition, there are paintings from the 17C to the 19C and a room devoted to the Middle Ages and to the Renaissance.
