The Paul Gauguin Cultural Centre in Atuona may not possess any originals of the artist's work, but it does present very faithful copies of his paintings. The "House of Sensual Delight", where he lived, has been reconstructed here along with its famous façade. A 15min walk away is the Calvaire Cemetery, where Gauguin was ultimately laid to rest.
