The erzgebirgemuseum mit Besucherbergwerk retraces local history, in particular that of the mines, and pride of place is given to local crafts and folklore. Admire the famous “Weihnachtsberge”, miniature models of the mine, forest and Nativity scenes made by local families in the late 19C and early 20C. The silver mine annexed to the museum is open to the public and offers an interesting tour of silver deposits.
