The Church of St-Anne with its three naves is one of the most impressive examples of Saxony's Late Gothic style. Twelve tall slender pillars soar into the ribs of the vaulting, which is made up of seven stars. This suberb vault composition was the work of Jacob Heilmann de Schweinfurt. The galleries have parapets embellished with scenes from the Old and New Testaments. On the left-hand wall is the Beautiful Door, which came from another chruch, and the pulpit with a figure of a miner.
