The cathedral was rebuilt in Gothic style in the 14C. Outside, see the Virgin's Door and the Romanesque bronze panels (11C) decorated with bas-relief sculptures depicting scenes and symbolic characters from the Old Testament. Inside, the tall central nave is flanked by double-sided aisles and the choir is surrounded by a double ambulatory with Gothic chapels.
