This castle was built in several stages, which explains its highly composite aspect. Its sturdy towers are crowned with Baroque domes while the polygonal staircase tower is in the Renaissance style and the gateway (1530) is Late Gothic. The entrance to the West Wing is through an ornately worked door flanked by two atlantes.
