Bad Muskau : Michelin's recommendations

This little spa resort at the Polish border is especially famous for its huge park created between 1815 and 1845 by Prince Pückler. The vast sums of money he spent on the park finally ruined him, and he had to sell the estate. The old castle in the park is set off by the theatrical ruins of the New castle, which was converted in a neo-Rrenaissance style in the late 19C, then destroyed in 1945.
