Behind the town hall are the remains of the imperial palace including the Blue Tower. A little further on stands the Romanesque house known as Steinhaus, housing a museum retracing the history of the town since the Roman occupation. Next to the panoramic terrace is the wall with its twin-columned Romanesque arcades, the remains of an old gallery in the former palace. The Red Tower is the last defensive point of the fortress.
