Baden-Baden : Michelin's recommendations
Sheltered between the Black Forest and the Baden vineyards, Baden-Baden is one of Germany's most elegant health resorts. Emperor Caracalla is said to have been a frequent visitor to cure his rheumatism. The «Caracalla-therme» is moreover one of the town's main attractions. The town's casino and theatre (opened in 1862) trasnformed the resort into the summer capital of Europe in the 19C.
