This strange glass building, inaugurated in 2000, is the national headquarters of the CDU (Christian Democratic Union) political party. It was designed by Petzinka, Pink and Partners. A glass hall rises from a series of plinths, containing a winter garden whose temperature and noise levels are regulated. This, in turn, is incorporated into another building resembling the hull of a ship.
