The most remarkable collection in the Art Gallery is that of the 19C and 20C French and German schools: Delacroix, Courbet, Menzel, Beckmann, Corinth, and Picasso. The other European schools should also be seen, in particular the copperplate engravings room housing over 230 000 drawings and etchings from Dürer's day to the present.
