Vineyards and forests provide the romantic backdrop for this attractive resort known for its mild climate. The nearby circular Burg (Fort) Altwindeck was built in the early 13C and abandoned in the 16C. It has now been converted into a hotel-restaurant. Two belfries, two houses and the ramparts remain.
