This is the oldest Christian building in Cologne. The interior has a lovely Gothic nave. Admire the paintings of the Master of St Severin in the two arms of the transept. Also, don't miss the 13C forked cross and the shrine to Saint Severin that was remade in the 19C. The crypt includes the tomb of the saint, bishop of Cologne in around 400 and one of the city's patron saints.
