The castle built for Prince Johann Georg in the midst of a lovely garden is by no means devoid of charm. The castle is the abode of a picture gallery with German paintings from the last centuries, including a number by Cranach the Elder, together with works by the Flemish and Dutch Schools (Rubens, Bruegel).
