Jägerhof chateau, is located in a shady park, is the old residence of the hunting master of the prince-electors. This building was erected in the 18C, and is home to the Goethe Museum. Among other exhibits are original editions of his works. The private collection of Dr Schneider consisting of gold plate and Meissen porcelains occupies a room on the second floor. On the Napoleon hill don't miss the modest monument dedicated to Heine signalled by the bronze by Maillol, Harmony.
