The modern art museum attracts attention as much for its architecture as for its collections. Designed by the Viennese architect Hans Hollein, the building with its imposing dimensions evokes a vessel rather than a cultural institution. The collections devote much room to artists from the New York school (Georges Segall, Roy Lichtenstein, etc.). Don't miss the collection of photographs (works by the Becher spouses, and Blume, notably).
