This Baroque castle was completed in 1655. Though it has an austere exterior, it offers the most delightful visit inside, with over thirty rooms in the Baroque, Rococo and Classical styles. In addition to magnificent floors in marquetry, original stucco ceilings and some remarkable furniture, the castle also contains an art collection (15C-17C) including sculptures by Jean-Antoine Houdon and a collection of antique and Egyptian objects. The Ekhoftheater is well worth a visit.
