The old town stretches from the Nikolaifleet, the basin for river sailing and tugboats (Binnenhafen) and the Zollkanal. Despite the air raids of the Second World War, old Hamburg has not entirely disappeared. Take a stroll through the old town, even if it's drizzling as it often does in Hamburg. In fact, that is probably the best time. See the old houses on Cremon (n° 33-36) and the Hohe Brücke.
