Housed in a 19C neo-Renaissance style palace, the large Museum fur Kunst und Gewerbe is home to a superb collection of sculptures, earthenware, furniture, jewellery and musical instruments dating from Antiquity to the present day. Of particular interest are the Art Nouveau room and the Japanese tea house. Part of the museum houses temporary exhibitions dedicated to themes relating to 20C design.
