This workshop enjoyed its golden age from 1910 to 1920 with its Art Deco and Bauhaus jewellery. At the time, its clients included Chanel and Parisian department stores. Today, production has practically ground to a halt but all the machines operate during visits: a 12-tonne press, and machines for chain making, Galalith (milk stone) work, polishing etc. The distinctive odour of lubricants still hangs in the air.
