The choir of this Romanesque building was transformed into the Gothic style in the 14C. Inside, admire the gigantic crucifix sculpted between 1470 and 1477 in the flamboyant Gothic style by Bernt Notke. A stone rood screen marks the separation with the choir. At the cross of the transept, several retables stand on pillars - one offered by the merchants of Stecknitz in 1422, the retable of the Canonical Hours, the retable of the Millers (1460) and the retable of the Virgin Mary (1506).
