This Baroque edifice (1772-1776) shows neo-Classical elements. The façade, of brick, is faced with Pirnau sandstone. The roof is crowned by an attic parapet which holds 40 statues. Inside, the rooms are decorated in a festooned style, with original ornaments and furniture. The Golden Room is particularly lavish. The ornamentation in this hall is made of papier mâché. The Venus Medici is made of the same material, yet resembles marble.
