The reconstruction of a 15C printing workshop in this museum gives an idea of the development of working conditions and techniques in the printing industry. The first two Gutenberg bibles are on display in a strong room. Other notable exhibits include incunabula and books from the 16C to the 19C, old presses, modern printing techniques and a “paper” section. The section devoted to the Far East has coloured wood carvings and prints from Japan, China and Korea.
