Bibendum

The Mecklenburgische Seenplatte is a plateau dotted with lakes. It extends between the Elbe-Lübeck canal and the Ucker Mark. The region was formed during the last Ice Age, when glaciers created depressions and basins. The result is the more than one thousand lakes dotting this unique landscape. Most of them are linked together by natural or man-made canals. The area is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts.
