Meissen Cathedral Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

Bibendum
This Gothic hall-church was built on the remains of a Romanesque church beginning in the 13C and was completed in the 15C. The sketches for the funerary plaques are attributed to A Dürer and L Cranach the Elder. Also see the Lay Brothers' Altar (in front of the rood screen) and the Benefactors' Statues (in front of the main chancel), which depict Emperor Otto I and Empress Adelaide.
