The chancel of the Gothic church was rebuilt in the 15C. The elegant structure is decorated with intricately carved choir stalls dating from 1507, depicting prophets, sibyls and church benefactors.

The final octagon on the belfry (1617) of the Kreuzherrenkirche is carved with some of the finest decoration of all the towers in the town.
