Tradition and modernity are by no means mutually exclusive, as this restaurant shows. Some rooms have been updated but the lovely vaulting and lots of wood help to retain the rustic, historical feel. Hearty Bavarian and Franconian delicacies are the order of the day.

Cuisine correcte dans une ambiance typique qui mérite d'être vue. Le spectacle est dans la salle.

Cons

Dans la partie Weinstube, éviter les soirs où il y a de la musique italienne qui détonne avec le cadre bavarois.

Die Toleranz und Freundlichkeit der Servicecrew. Das wirklich frisch ab dem Grill servierte Spanferkel und die hausgemachten Ravioli mit Röstzwiebelfüllung ...... ein Traum!!

Pros

The prices are moderate and the quality is usually high. I believe everybody finds a suitable place in this vast dungeon. The new installed French Bistro adds an alternative to the Franken oriented cuisine. Especially this little corner managed by Jean-Claude is highly recommendable. Steak Frites Café de Paris € 16,50. A nice but small french wine list adds s lot.
