This building features the distinctive three-aisle layout of all hall churches. The groined vaulting over the central nave and star vaults over the side aisles immediately catch the visitor's eye. An openwork spire 99m high was added to the tower in the 19C. Still visible hanging from the tower are three iron cages in which the bodies of the Anabaptist rebels were displayed after their defeat. The Anabaptist sect advocated that only adults should be baptised. Admire the fine haberdashers' guild house with a gable end (1588) behind the church.
