Church of St Sebald - Nuremberg Interesting : Michelin's recommendations

This church, with a double choir, was built in 13C and enlarged in 14C. The distinction between the Romanesque (median and lateral naves) and Gothic (hall choir and deambulatory) is clear. The sobriety of the western façade, with Romanesque portals, contrasts with the Gothic choir in the east of the church, decorated with pinnacles and statues. The church contains many works of art including the tomb of Saint Sebald where the artist Peter Vischer portrayed himself next to the Saint (1519).
