The German Leather Museum houses a unique collection of leather, parchment and animal skins, and examines the use of leather in different areas, such as travel. Housed in the same building, the Shoe Museum demonstrates the evolution of fashion from the time of the Egyptians and Romans to the present day. The exhibition of the shoe as an objet d’art is particularly interesting.
