This pedestrian street, which crosses the city centre from Kröpelin Gate to the town hall, is the main shopping drag. It is lined by numerous gabled houses, mostly Gothic, with Renaissance and Baroque façades: at n^o 82, the brick façade of the old presbytery of the Heiligen Geist Hospital (late 15C) stands out with its step gables.
