The Town Hall is made up of three gabled houses topped with a gallery with arcades supporting seven towers (13 -14C). This is preceded by a Baroque façade added in 1727. On the other side of the square, admire the fine alignment of gabled façades. Kröpeliner Straße crosses the old town, from the Town Hall to the Kröpeliner Tor. Lined with gabled houses dating from the Renaissance to the Baroque period, it is a major shopping street in Rostock.
