Sasbachwalden : Michelin's recommendations

This village is both a health resort and a wine-growing village. Its status as winner of the national "Most beautiful village" competition is self-evident in its particularly well-kept aspect and the profusion of flower boxes adorning its picturesque, half-timbered houses. The village is encircled by dense forests and vineyards which produce a red wine called alder gott, quite unlike the other regional wines. Walking enthusiasts will enjoy the pleasant footpaths which depart from the village.
