We are surprised by the absence of towers in this 14C cathedral. The interior is a perfect hall with the chancel easily distinguishable from the nave by virtue of its more intricately worked ribbed vaulting. The edifice houses many masterpieces.The choir stalls and radiating chapels are rich in statuary: note especially, the Holy Sepulchre watched over by the three Marys. The Baptismal Chapel contains the Tree of Jesse (1520) comprising 40 sculpted figurines.
